Bruce Duncan's Epic Tri

Former GB Squad orienteer Bruce Duncan (Jon's brother) is now a world class Adventure Racer; In just over a weeks time, he's heading out with his friend Anthony Emmett on a crazy 'Epic Tri' to raise money for Cancer Research.

They're running a Bob Graham Round, followed by cycling from John O Groats to Lands End, then finally kayaking from Devizes to Westminster. With the only breaks being their transfers.

according to the tracking they seem to have been stuck for a few hours, hope this is something to do with gps upload signal and not some other reason!

This is quite exciting! I spent most of the afternoon at work yesterday eagerly clicking refresh. Is it warm back there then? It's still miserable and wet in New England. I think we switched weathers this spring.

it's certainly a nice day here, not too windy and pretty warm. even felt a bit silly putting my jacket on at lunchtime!

Are they doing alright - the marker hasn't moved much and they only have 4 hours left assuming they started on time - it's very hot here.

Warm enough that there were grass snakes out and about in Hodgemoor Woods when I was tagging controls this afternoon.

Edit: Just remembered I had no mobile reception while waiting for Kitch up there, so it could be a bit longer before an update.
