
Are people saying that there was really a gap where it's mapped as private in which case, (particularly if an advantage was gained,) surely anyone realising they had gone that way shoud DQ themselves.

Yeah, that's a crap clash I'd rather avoid. I've emailed the powers that be in ESOC to see what, if anything, can be done.
I have just got my map out and looked at control 18. I am totally unclear what the problem on the map was.

And therefore now clashing with the Welsh Championships weekend, which this year included a Masters' Cup race.
