Absolutely brilliant. Definitely an early contender for event of the year. Nearly as good at Wheel Florence last year. For those who missed it, here is a link to Routegadget:

How many routes on Route Gadget will be partial works of fiction?
Mine is. Haven't a clue where I was at times. Great area.

Also want to add my thanks to organising team for a great event at Hugset - a great example of how to make best use of an area. Map, course, organisation, all excellent.
Lots of little errors, all in the circle, mostly parallel errors, about 4-5 mins in total (so getting on for 10% of time!). I don't think I went through the area around 3/7/15/19 on the Brown cleanly in any of my visits (apart from approaching 7). Taught me that I've got to tighten up my fine compass skills.

Tha
That looks fantastic! Wish I could have been there.
On routegadget on the map legend it looks like the same symbol used for depression and knoll? Is that an artefact? Otherwise it would be even more tricky......

No, it was just an unfortunate error in the legend which had been pared to a minimum, and shuffled around a few times in order to get descriptions in the top left corner of the A4 sheet. You're only the second person to notice it.

Yeah sorry about that - was the first Eddie or Graeme by any chance?
TBH I wouldnt have noticed it, but the map was so complex, had to take a step back to understand it. Looks brilliant - hope to get a chance to run on it sometime in future.
