oringen sounds fun...ill be in the most boring country in the world at that point...finland.orienteering at the finnish 5 day...what a joy it will be.don't suppose anyone's going to finland...nope...thought not!?

whats the difference between W18E and normal W18A over here? not going to win it i know, but how hard is it?

as far as i know

D18E,18L,18S are same TD, but different lengths, but still not more than you would probably expect aW18A to be on a scottish over here
however the winners times are apparently
S = 4m/k
L = 5m/k
E = 6m/k

which must mean big differences in lengths

you may not actually get to run elite depending on how many entrants there are, if there's over a 100 (which there probably will be) they start chucking people onto the L course instead - and foreigners are usually the first to go i think, but you can usually get on it if you have a good argument for running it.

ok thanx guys for the info, i like the look of some sprint style orienteering on W18S, might not come last then! good short race training for FCC too. plus if my knee/shoulder stay this way im gonna have to do the short
