Oban 2011- Commentary

Following on from the Park World Tour we will be bringing in the big screen experience on Day 3 plus competitor tracking, commentary etc. Couple of things - has anyone got a link to how the big screen was used in Perth? I opened a link and it crashed my laptop (blue screen).
We are also looking for a commentary team so if anyone can make recommendations or has an interest in providing the service/getting involved can they please let themselves be known?

Brilliant! I need to write back to the new lady at Racingscotland (that's horses for those who don't know) and explain what we want for Oban. I have a meeting with EventScotland on Tuesday so the report is good reading. Unfortunately the Commentator who did PWT is moving onto greater things than the 6 Day and wasn't available.

[BTW Eddie my snapped achilles mended 4 years ago but makes me about 2 min/km slower since]

We are still looking for a commentator/commentary team for the 6 Day and we have budget to take somebody on-board on a professional/semi-professional basis if they don't just want to do it for fun. If anyone knows who might like to do this please let me know.
The big screen is booked and will be in pride of place at Day 3. Things are coming together on radio controls but I don't yet have a clear idea about affordable GPS tracking. All ideas welcome.

I want a reliable UK supported option where someone can come to the event, plug it all in and make it work alongside big screen, radio controls etc. We can do this, but our main expert is otherwise engaged with SportIdent during the 6 day
