That's for tomorrow's OK Nuts Trophy and Blood Races. Being next to the A3 helps, as does plenty of hard-standing (underneath the 3-4 inches of snow)
Ultrasport aren't coming (unable to get out of Shropshire), but Tom's Burger van will be there.
Just been putting controls out. It's fantastic out there.
Longmoor is definitely on

Did it happen - I saw pictures of stationary traffic on "A3 near Guildford", was this caused by the queue to turn into the car parking field?

Fantastic indeed - thanks to SLOW for getting the event on. Also really big thanks to the Organiser and start team who allowed us to start late after a horrendous journey because part of the M25 was closed following a major accident (3 hours there and three hours back

FRBS was the only person to arrive at the finish covered that indelicate shade of orange that I advised of in the final details - all the way up to his armpits too - perhaps there were others who didn't go quite so deep.
The turnout was definitely disappointing, which perhaps is unsurprising. DaveK was the only one I heard of having trouble en route. Others maybe couldn't get out of their own road, or never made the attempt. Also we were missing quite a few due to various lurgies - GG amongst them.
Certainly no regrets about going ahead - a great experience for all those that got there. All the best for Wendover getting a re-arranged date and I hope it means they get better entry numbers for it.
Hopefully some pics will make the website

Yes it was great - well done to Andy and the team for ploughing ahead with the event, well worth it for those who came - the Blood Race courses were excellent though hard work. FRBS certainly wasn't the only one to fall in the stream from what I saw, but I think he wins the prize for going the deepest!

Super event. Thanks to SLOW for not cancelling the event. There's nothing as much fun as running through virgin snow

I got tango'd too. It took half a thermos of boiling water to melt the ice off my laces so I could take my O shoes off.

Brilliant event - really enjoyed it. Thanks to all at SLOW who put it on despite the weather. Thanks also to the nice chap at the map exchange who helped me remove my frozen, disintegrating gaiter.
I went waist deep at one point, although fortunately the water wasn't orange. Examining the map now it is apparent that this was the result of unwittingly attempting to run across a frozen pond, which was invisible on the ground
