The prices have now been pushed up to a bit more than £9 - but are still cheaper than the YHA. Thanks for the tip-off

I don't think they've been pushed up - merely that not all hotels are in the spring sale. However,we're booked in at Cameron Toll, and it's still £9 per night (maybe not as superficially convenient as, say, Edinburgh Central, but we have used it before as its still within easy walking of venues, and it has a free car park).

One of the central ones went up by £7 while I was faffing around making my mind up about where to stay, so I'm guessing they have limited rooms at various cheap prices in each hotel. Being lazy I paid a bit extra anyway to minimize unnecessary walking.

I went for Cameron Toll too for the parking. And thats the first time I've been called a spambot - plenty of times something that sounds like spambot though.....

More info. to be available shortly (will post it on Nopesport) and entries to open shortly for this weekend.
Yet again expect the city race (with newly mapped extensions) and the use of Arthur's seat on the sunday.
Bring it on!

I'm almost tempted. Now if you could tell me that the urban race is round 1 of the Nopesport Urban League 2011, that would make a big difference...
