Hear hear Andy. That's my slight concern about the new 4 level guidelines which emphasise too many things unrelated to the competition IMO.

but surely these are event guidelines not competition guidelines?

Or do you mean organisation as opposed to course planning?

I think he means an obsession with toilets, traders and arenas, none of which are really relevent to producing a well planned orienteering event, and belong more to the "glossy brochure" style of orienteering.
