Folks,
Dont forget you can make a weekend of it with the Adriatic Meeting (now in its 4th year?). This enables you do do some more racing and see/do Venice.
We did it 2 years ago and it was super.

For elites there is a PWT but there are also races for others of course. When we went 2 years ago we were picked up by minibus from the airport and there was an organised bus taking us to Venice after the Sat race - or early Sunday morning - I forget which.
This year the Adriatic meeting is in San Marino and are both short races.

Yes - it gets a bit complicated in the north, especially as we can never get time off on Friday or Monday, and there isn't the choice of flights there were a few years ago: Easyjet has stopped flying out of East Midlands (and all points north of Bristol), and Jet2 shut down their Venice flights at the end of October. We're booked to go out with Ryanair on Sat morning from Leeds-Bradford, and back to Gatwick on Sunday evening with Easyjet.

Re: Venice 2010
I see that there's now a choice of two events on the Saturday: the traditional Park-O in St Elena, and another one (Ca Savio) on a neighbouring island - http://www.orivenezia.it/mov/movbase.asp?lang=eng&page=casavio Does anyone know anything about this area - how does it compare to St. Elena?

Does anybody understand how to interpret the startlist? Presumably the "ora partenza" on the list need to be added to some base time - any ideas?

I was assuming a base of 14:00 for either Saturday event, and 09:30 for the Sunday, but was going to check with registration when we get there!

Thanks. As you say, probably best to check at registration...

Those base times are correct, as described on the Program page. See you there...
