Gutted. Was really looking forward to this, but clashes with our own Bronte Double.

Re: Maize Maze
I'm hoping to be there, at least for the daylight races - really looking forward to it
Do you have a rough idea of when the start times will be yet? I need to figure out how to get there...

The daylight races will be in the afternoon - don't know exact timings yet, will depend on numbers. Last year the start times were 3 - 5.30pm, they certainly won't go any later, they may well start earlier.
Here's a little taster of the map to whet your appetite!

I will have to send a representative to the race.

Bearing in mind the arguements on another thread regarding control descriptions, do you bother with them? They must all be pretty similar if you do......

Re: Maize Maze
I do do control descriptions - there are some bridges, staircases & platforms, so it's nice to be a bit more specific sometimes!

Re: Maize Maze
I've just noticed that LOC are organising their O-Maizing Maze event the previous week, 2nd October, at the Lakeland Maize Farm Park. From the aerial picture of the Maze on the farm park's website, it should be great.

Brilliant! Thank you very much for pointing this out - Burton-on-Trent is a bit far for us, but the southern Lakes is just fine.
