Yes - sounds like a good solid run from Pippa. (actually it better than that I think!)

I'm not sure I'm qualified to comment on this, but i think the fence on the way to 1st control is more than a bit cheeky. I think its a little bit against the spirit of the WOC to add in something like that so out of place (unless of course it actually exists in real life). I'd hate for the result to hinge on someone seeing or not that fence right at the start of the event!

I reckon its quite a good idea, because there are so many people running who have lived in Trondheim and will know the streets, so it keeps everything thinking and even things out a bit.

That was tight - looking at the splits - looks a bit like Jansen ran out of steam. She was the only runner in the top few that Niggli took enough out of to win in the last stages (if you see what i mean).

Well done to Pippa, Sarah and Helen - all 3 top 20 is a very strong performance. The speed of the top girls is amazing to watch.
