Looks probable that ShUOC will be hot favorites for the Junior Trophy!

The ShUOC 'junior' team is n/c - we had 12 people wanting to run, and we wanted everyone to have a run as it's a cracking event and the only chance of nightO racing we have. (we were to have 2 A teams, but 2 people dropped out. Damn exams...)

Don't forget though that n/c teams on the B course can still win the Saxons Harvesters trophy not a competition competiton thingy. There is a combined SOS/SUFFOLK team which is n/c by the rules too, so at least two teams in this competition not a competition.

DFOK might not be last this year on the A course as Saxons have entered a team.

I predict there will be a few tired Saxons members this weekend, organising 3 events in 24 hours pretty much non stop, and they are only a medium sized club . Hope you're all nice to them.

To me it looks like wet on Saturday, and cold all weekend. But perhaps that's good for running.

I'll predict ShUOC for the A class win, with FVO, BOK, and SYO all in with a shout. The Swedish Farsta team is an unknown that could be right up there.

Well done Saxons for making it a three-event weekend. Though the entries for the Sprints and Regional look small, I'm sure the organisers' efforts will still be appreciated.

I didn't realise I will be leaving the county. I shall have to check my passport.

Hargate might be in Kent though? You'll have to check the border.

See the Saxons website for some changes to the Hargate details. Also they want team captains to fill in their declarations on line to make organisation easier on Saturday night.

Rain is manageable. Volcanic ash might be more problematic for some teams... but the current Met Office forecast of that seems good.

The ash cloud remains to the west of the British Isles today and with winds likely to remain from the north-east into the weekend, the risk of the ash cloud affecting UK airspace in the next couple of days remains low.
