The rest of the Appendix very specifically refers to ISOM rather than ISSOM. I can't see this doing anything other than refer to ISOM maps. I am actually perplexed why (a) it is numbered 526.1 - 526 refers to buildings and 525 is for crossing points - and (b) why it is used at all - 525 is very clear that it refers to crossing points through or OVER walls/fences, and is much clearer than a narrow line.
Distracted - thanks for the link: very useful for me at present dealing with vegetation on an urban map. Has made me rethink a few things!
