Thermal printers

Can anyone recommend thermal printers (for splits) suitable for a large entry multiday event? A major criterion is that they should be fast; a second criterion is that they should have reasonable cost ...

Our club has been very happy with the Start TSP143 with USB connection. We have two of these and they have proved very reliable as well as being simple to install on multiple laptops. Currently £174.99 + VAT from the Barcode Warehouse. We previously used an Epson but had many problems with that one.

We (LOC) use two Star printers - one is aTSP600 USB and the other is a TSP700 Parrallel. Both have been used no problem for a number of years. If you want cheap, try Ebay - our TSP600 cost £35!! Paper can be bought cheap from http://www.mrpaper.co.uk...
