I reckon that there are probably three levels of event that clubs put on as local events from the well organised leagues to the back of an envelope maps and upside cups or bits of tape as control sites. The differences between these are as great as the differences between the old district and regional events. So defining events just by what the competitor would expect to see would probably mean about 8 levels?
