I think it highly likely that more courses will be included next year if numbers are anticipated to rise again or remain the same.
As always, the planners/organisers should look to mix up which parts of the city will be used so you never do the same thing in consecutive years.
With regards to sunday - it depends on the EUOC committee for 10/11 - choices would be revert to the classic SoSol on Holyrood Park (full colour coded courses) or maybe try and use some of the smaller wooded areas in Edinburgh with possible urban connections e.g. Craigmillar (as used in December - an awesome mix of technical wood/urban made even better by low vegetation in the winter - and still a walk/bus from the city centre). Blackford hill, corstophine etc.are other possibilities.....

So how's this for an idea - a Nopesport Urban League double header
The precedent has been set Leeds/Skipton last year and Sheffield/ Lincoln this year. It would need to be do able by public transport but it wouldn't have to be in Edinburgh. Classic city race on Sunday and perhaps a shorter sprint or chasing sprint on the Saturday - what about that place with the canal wheel and Antonine Wall?
my guess is that this would be a very attractive start to the year for all us urban junkies

Sounds good. I agree with jjjl that the planners need to mix the areas up a bit - I was disappointed to have some legs and control sites the same as last year. Enjoyed the event but still not as good as London IMO. It doesn't seem to get any easier in the Barbican

But at least they were hard enough not to be photographed wearing gloves and Day-Glo trainers!

Greywolf in score, greywolf on the cover of focus, greywolf inside focus. That's the far far away cover blown.
There are, IMO, now three first rate Urban areas mapped within the Edinburgh ring road. So they could give the city centre a rest and do a double header.

I'd presumed from Greywolf's picture he was a young woman, probably Moravian.
