Not drunk bad typing but I thought Mike said you were entered against him and the men in Edinburgh, and I've reread it and still think that.

Unfortunately there's gonna be a severe lack of ShUOC that weekend due to it being smack in the middle of exams. Gutting, a brand spankers new area right next to Sheffield Normally I'd jib off the revision for both days, but I can't see it happening this year...

I’ve just come back from a walk round the Northern Championships area; if the event were being held tomorrow I would be recommending going ahead. It was raining for hours yesterday; the car park fields are clear and although there is patchy snow still around, the only significant snow is where it had drifted. Both starts and the finish are useable.

The cost of entry goes up at midnight tonight; so there are 7 hours to get your entries in at the cheaper rate.

Final Details for both events are now published online.

The snow has all gone from Beeley, and there are just a few patches left on Big Moor.

Start lists will be up as quickly as I can do them after the final entry closing date, which is Tuesday night. Hopefully Wednesday for Beeley, and Thursday for Big Moor.

A bit of accommodation still available at the event centre.

Courses have been planned to avoid the ferocious tussocks in the middle of Big Moor

Ah vicious tussocks... Hardly noticed them at the OMM, so hopefully won't notice them here! (holding off entering until the last minute - looking at material for my exam the day after I reckon I can justify a long day out on the moors!)
