Thanks to SOC for a well organised event in the New Forest - showers were a great bonus after the run and the weather was particularly nice!

Results-wise, BOK and SOC qualified for the cup final and WIM for the trophy final.

Elsewhere I hear on the grapevine that WAOC managed to beat NOC in the EA round - huge congratulations to them! Any other results from the rest of the country?

Scoring system used at the LOK heat seems to be different to the SOC one. At the former they allowed 2 counters on each of the LG and O Men AND Women. SOC only allowed 2 in total. Which is correct? Makes a big difference as on the LOK system SARUM go through, on the SOC system WIM go through by 1 point!!

That rule got changed this year, I think SOC have it right.

Due to the continuing amounts of snow in Perthshire, TAY have regretfully withdrawn their offer to host the Scottish CSC Heat in tandem with their SoSOL at Dalguise on February 28th. The decision to withdraw has been made to ensure that the Heat, a high-profile event, is as successful as it possibly can be.

No, if you read the SOA site thread you'll see people regard it as less important than junior training, with which it may not clash. Since junior training doesn't register on a three level scale, that would make CSC/CST level 5.
