Yes, they probably do and that happens to be me for ESOC, but it's nice to know there are other people able to upload results if I'm not available.

I always like to see results online as fast as possible and it's always nice to have more than one person able to do it so this can happen.

Initially each club can nominate which two people will be able to upload. More can be added later. I guess most clubs only have a couple of people who normally upload to rankings, Winsplits, Routegadget, etc, so that seems fine.

And the process is really easy. If you know what a webpage, a CSV file and a database are, you shouldn't have any problems.

No - Maroc has a policy of the organiser of each event uploading results, route gadget etc as it is a little extra work for a lot of people each year as opposed to a lot of work regurlarly for one (or two) people. It also means that competence with computers, results etc is spread throughout the club which then reduces the workload on the computer gurus.

.. except that I have somehow got it displaying every person twice, so it now only effectively shows the top 50% of the list! (And the Reset button doesn't reset this "feature".)

Also the points score for some people has changed in the past 5 minutes. Does that mean that someone has loaded another set of results?

everyone's been doubled up, so everyone's dropped twice the distance (i.e. I dropped ~500 places in 20mins. Now there's a drop in form!)

I can't get the hovering over the scores to reveal the events using IE6 (I'll try something different when I get home).
The info is there in the source code e.g.:

is it still possible to look at lists from individual races, like the dorset delight that i scored 1300 points at, even though i didn't run or even enter the race...

Agreed. I like it a lot. However I think there are one or two teething problems to sort out. I'm not seeing the "doubling" reported by others (since fixed?) but I'm shown as having a score from the Eyam Moor event (where I was DSQ'd, dammit) but not from Titterstone Clee (no sign of that in the results list either - coincidence? I know the results from that were on the old ranking system).

that error (and quite a few others) have been picked up on already & reported...but as per the "things you should know" it takes some time to get things sorted...because it changes everything else...
that's why duplicating a result would not give the same points - the results of the first race change the average points of each runner used to calculate the points from the "second" race

other than that it looks good, nice to see all the results collected into one official place, rather than having to go to clubs individual websites to get them.
