Selection Policies

Whatever happened to every new PDF being heralded on the BOF homepage with fanfares and shiny baubles? The 2010 Selection Policies have also appeared on the website, although I don't think any athletes have been told that they're out yet. Be warned: they're terrifyingly detailed (not that thoroughness is necessarily a bad thing).

One highlight based on a brief scan - the new summer tours structure has been unveiled:
  • Baddaguish - Talent Camp - one week - aged 14-21 - up to 40 athletes
  • Uppsala - Academy Camp - two weeks - aged 17-24 - up to 16 athletes
  • Poland - International Racing Camp - one week - aged 17-26 (and not going to WOC) - up to 14 athletes
plus the usual pre-WOC and pre-JWOC tours (the former incorporating some WC races).

2 weeks in Uppsala.... wow.... most athletes don't need BOF to organise that :)
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)
