Re: JUKOLA 2010
Ryanair to Tampere from Edinburgh is about £80.
Easyjet to Helsinki (much closer to the event
) from Manchester is about £75.
So the only remaining question is how and where to watch England beat Algeria in the World Cup on 18th June...

Thats a fair point Spookster. Still not to worry - I'll meet you there for the final since that practically a certainty going by the media response to the draw.....

Re: JUKOLA 2010
Anyone remember Jukola 2002, About 200 people crowded round a tiny 12inch screen in the corner of the beer tent to watch England v Denmark? I think there were about 20 brits on one side, 20 danes inc. Carsten making a lot of noise on the other, and 160 swedes/finns in the middle keeping us apart!
Or after the race the next morning, when they showed the Sweden v. Senegal match on the big screen - pushing 30c already at 9 in the morning and I'd just run an epic last leg, lying on the grass watching it. Brilliant - and my Norwegian team mates weren't too bothered that the Swedes lost....
