Does not sound like many teams since the BOF website suggests we have 117 clubs in the federation.
I'm guessing some clubs have entered more than 1 team, so that leaves an awful lot of teams either not interested or unable to field 6 juniors inlusive of 2 females.

Re: Peter Palmer Relay
Only 19 clubs entered a team for the JK Trophy this year, so presumably the other 98 were unable to muster four men.

Re: Peter Palmer Relay
As far as I remember it is rather better than last year..... perhaps there were only slightly over twenty teams last year.
The teams have to have two good night runners as well. However, once a club sends a team, the following year becomes much easier to find the team. It is infectious.... and such a great event. Our juniors are SOOOOOOO looking forward to it.

Re: Peter Palmer Relay
32 teams would equal last year's entries, although three 2008 teams were n/c.

Well the Organiser can now tell you that we have 33 teams.
Including HOC, OD, SROC, AIRE, MDOC, HH, BOK, NOC, SARUM, WAOC, SOS, MAROC, LOG, SBOC, WCOC, DEE, SYO, SO, DVO, ERYRI, BarrOPFO, AND EBOR.
Some clubs have multiple entries, the most entries being put in by OD (3)

Perhaps there would be more teams if they could find CRB checked adults to take them - we were struggling!

Re: Peter Palmer Relay
West Cumberland OC were fifth overall and second in the Joan George Trophy.
A bit of a shambles at the prizegiving and the JG placings were wrong, with incorrect awardings of the prizes! It was quite clear on the results printout that was displayed.... so what went wrong?
A great event, with our two teams enjoying the occasion and the competition a very great deal. Many thanks to all the folk involved with the event.
However, juniors...... this is your event. Is there anything you would like to see.... any changes that you would ask for?

Re: Peter Palmer Relay
Well done to OD, we thought Elliot might just hold on after the spectator control for MDOC to win again.
Many thanks to Gerry and his team for the organisation, you can have a rest now.

I wasn't aware that neighbouring club teams are allowed in this competition. Is this well known? Perhaps clubs without a team might think about this for next year (especially our neighbours

Where is the competition next year BTW?
