Re: WOC Long Final
Both video and GPS are non-functional at the moment - am I doing something wrong, or are they not working?

Re: WOC Long Final
Both working for me, but there aren't any TV controls yet, so I've just got Per commentating. And on the GPS they haven't put the map up yet - it'll be up at 1100, when the men go to quarantine area (IOF rule).

Thanks - that explains the GPS. My video stream just seems to have taken a sudden dislike to Firefox, but is now working fine in Chrome. Odd

Re: WOC Long Final
Now that GPS is working, it seems many of the runners aren't being tracked...
And yet it's clear that Sarah and Helen have trackers - they look quite bulky on the runners' backs.
Sarah and Helen are at about the same pace after 70 mins, but about 7 mins down on Radka Broskova, current leader.

Re: WOC Long Final
I seem to recall reading somewhere (a bulletin?) that the runners who aren't being tracked will have to carry dummies of the same size/weight for fairness reasons. Presumably they don't have enough units to go around.

GG has been caught by Thierry and Rollier going into the butterflies, if the tracking is reliable.
Edit: Still with Thierry at the TV control, but they've dropped Rollier.

Rich's articles have been great - so much better than the usual 'some GB people ran today. Here's where they finished'

And for anyone who likes a bit of controversy, the prizegiving was delayed while the jury considered (and rejected) a protest from the Finnish team alleging that Mamleev had followed Hubmann...

Re: WOC Long Final
Hmm the four min gap from radio control 2 suggests that Mamilov was not too far off Hubmann's tail

Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Surely it was brilliant "navigation" by the "Italian"? Especially around #32...
Really tough on Haldin, that's an phenomenal run off first start.
Great result from GG too, well deserved after the qualifying win. Scott seems uncharacteristically slow.
