See here - it seems that they didn't think they had any men who stood a reasonable chance of qualifying for an A final. There's also a long discussion about it here.

Russians back in play... DQ ignored :) And at 1st TV they are 30 secs clear... France 7th 1 min back

Finland & Sweden 1.30 min in 10th GB 12th 1.37 back

Either the Swiss have been missed - or Hubman has missed big time.

Novikov leading but not extending his lead over many nations.

Now a TV cable is damaged so no informatio at all - what next?

Fantasy - GG has caught Novikov and the 2 are running away from the field with Gonon going backwards 8)

It seems that only the first art of my fantasy is true - Novikov is running away, but without GG. Gonon is clear 2nd - some distance behind.

3 rd leg map is now up on GPS...

GB 7th at moment... ahead of Swiss but maybe 3.5 mins back from lead. Swiss are 4.15 back
