Re: JWOC 2009
From a HOC point of view it is good to see Beata out there running again, not at last year's standard but she's lost about 6 months due to injury so I think to be competing at all is pretty impressive.
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Went over on his ankle around the second control, apparently.

Re: JWOC 2009
Middle qualification this morning - looks like 5 of the 6 girls safely through to the A final, with Mairead missing out. Only Hector through to the men's A final, in 5th position in his heat, the rest of the guys (bar Ralph, who dns) all got into the B final.

Really good effort from the girls some of the more fancied euro runners just scrapped in. Best of luck for tomorrow.

Re: JWOC 2009
That is an awesome set of results for the girls!
20 people to finish and they are all in the top 15, you can relay on maybe half of those last starts to bomb, it's looking very good.
Hector is about 5mins into his course now, dai dai dai!!!

Re: JWOC 2009
Great runs from the girls, and from Hector as well (looks like he'll be 15/16th). Bodes well for the relay. Well done also to Kris who placed 3rd in the B Final having had the first start - good to see him showing what he can do.
Cheers,
Patrick
