So this is probably in the wrong section, but nevermind.
Planning a couple of trips this year to do some interesting things and hope some people have either been/done/offer advice.
In Late September I'm planning on doing the Annapurna Circuit in nepal. I think the trek is recommended to be done in 20smth days but according to chris upsons blog (Scottish fell runner) he did it ultra-light weight in 10. So perhaps its doable with slightly less emphasis on speed in 15 days. Has anyone done this or anything similar?
I'm also after some advice on warm(ish) weather training in Mid Novemberfor perhaps 1-2weeks. Its a total blank slate and I could go/do anything anywhere! I'm not going to go to club le santa (this may happen in January/Feb) but alternatively looking for another fairly demanding trekking trail that I can do in decent(ish) weather and the higher the altitude the better. Not looking at going as far a field as NZ but instead looking at Greece/Souther Spain/Morocco and associated islands (e.g. Crete, Corsica, canaries etc) - Looking to get mainly longer trail/mountain runs. Has anyone advice on this? Clearly with this plan its more like getting a location without too much snow high up so I'd only need to carry instep lightweight crampons and ice axe if need be. Looking to go ultra lightweight between villages/refuges (though it would be abase town if i were to go to canaries/small islands). Not sure if its possible at that time of year even on the med islands.
-Cheers
Drew
p.s. If anyone fancies tagging along in November for my second trip they would be more than welcome. (Selection procedure applies based on looks/personality!)

When I did it, Idid it in 12 days, but did cheat by flying out of Jomsom because we were short of time....
Two things you will need to take into account is that you will need to make sure you are acclimatised before going over Thorung La Pass and I thought I heard that you now need to have a guide ......
Oh, if you are doing it in September I hope you miss the end of the monsoon season because landslides could delay you....
