With BO we have 3 of us and all use the same e mail address - the family, makes it easier. We got 3 initial e mails, fair enough. Filled in 1 each. Hubby got v excited today as he opened the e mail saying
"You have been identified as a talented individual and your feedback is very important, so please take the time to share your views. "
Then invited again to register for a survey....
Well 3 of us have registered once....

I would hazard an educated guess that it's son who is the talented one
but who knows... is this a follow up to the initial thing - but as far as I remember that just asked for age + how often you trained. Perhaps they are now trawling a slightly different data base?
If the other 2 e mails don't come through telling us that we're all talented perhaps I'd better e mail back and ask who they want!

Ooh I never even thought it could be me!
Perhaps they can see something no one else can underneath that poor quality training schedule and strong arm muscles from holding up all the other competitors.

Somewhere, deep inside the bowels of BOF, is a database of members with an "is talented?" flag.

I registered as a willing volunteer for this survey and hope to be as useful as I can when the survey isdone. Since then I have had a further request to register.
But the most disconcerting thing is the number of annoying phone calls from Ipsos Mori regarding answering a few questions. I am in favour of online surveys you can complete at your leisure, but not annoying, harassing phone calls.
Has anyone else had these since registering?

Are you registered with the Telephone Preference Service? If so, then I don't think Ipsos Mori are allowed to call you except in connection with the survey you registered for. I've certainly had no calls from them.

I got an email from the organisers apologising for contacting me regarding a specific Sport England survey. She claimed they had tried to filter non-English addresses out of their data..... BOF had provided postal addresses as well as email addresses.....

Perhaps Gross if you put Lithuania instead of Lietuva bearing in mind that it is an address FROM the UK they might have realised ... but there again maybe not.

It has arrived! I'm currently in the middle of completing it, but it's horribly generic. There have been a couple of questions that have made me giggle so far: just how satisfied am I with "the quality of the surfaces where I take part in my sport"?

I've spent the last five days straight in a library, reading about why some people wanted to kill some other people 2500 years ago. It's probably fair to say that at the moment I'm quite easily amused.

I have to admit, I gave up half way through. As you say Scott, it's horribly generic, and after going down one section mostly ticking the NA or 'of zero importance' boxes against, I really started to feel I had better things to do with my weekend! I really can't see it providing much useful information. I got past the "surfaces" question, but gave up round about the question about cleanliness. In a forest?!!
