Thanks to HH for a really enjoyable event.
Egypt Woods & Burnham Beeches are always a lovely area to run through. Really liked the 1.6km leg on a compass bearing through nice runnable woodland without any path running options in sight. Don't often get that in southern England!

Re: Burnham Beeches
You might want to wait a bit before putting your route into Routegadget as there is a problem with the road crossing which is messing up the relationship between legs and splits. I have sent an email to Kevin.

I think I've now fixed this. Condes threw in a control at the end of the taped route that I wasn't expecting.
I've put in a dummy 10 second time for everybody on this "leg", so the animation works correctly. You'll just find one extra "control" on your course if you had the road crossing.

Around 150m in 10 seconds! Usain Bolt, eat your heart out!

Seriously, really good event and my course was well-planned, my thanks to all concerned. I particularly enjoyed beating all the selected England team on my course.

Think you'll find Colin Dickson was selected, Ian.

He would have been if I were picking the team, and I make no claim that I should have been selected myself.
But I think the people listed as club 'ENG' in the results were those selected, and Colin is listed as 'BAOC'.

Re: Burnham Beeches
The orienteers listed represented England at Interland, though comparing results and the OrienteeringEngland list I see that Nick Barrable replaced Oli Johnson in M21E and Em Benham replaced Victoria Stevens in W20E. Having checked with the Chairman of Veteran Selectors for England, Andy Hemsted (British Champion), Colin Dickson was selected initially, as you'd expect from his results through 2008.

Re: Burnham Beeches
Just a quick note to thank Mike for re-uniting my son with his compass and SI Card at BOC.
Also a big thank you to the person who found them somewhere at Burnham Beeches and handed them in.
