Official confirmation that BUCS, aka The Event Formerly Known As BUSA, is being organised next year by OUOC and will be held in the Guildford/Woking area on 7th-8th March 2009. Further details will be appearing on http://www.ouoc.org.uk as they're confirmed, and we plan to open entries in the New Year.

Re: BUCS 2009
Full details for BUCS 2009 are now available. BUCS should be sending out entry details today - nag your university/college Sports Association/Athletics Union if they're not forwarded on to you in the next few days.

Re: BUCS 2009
A gentle reminder that entries close at midnight on Friday - that is, a little under 46 hours' time. BUCS decide the closing date, entry fees and late-entry charges, so OUOC have no control over the fact that any late entries will cost an extra £5 per person for the individual and an extra £10 per relay team...

Re: BUCS 2009
Final details are up on the OUOC website - please note the non-standard (for the UK, at least) relay changeover - and old maps are on RouteGadget (with thanks to SLOW and SN).

Final start lists for the individual champs are now up on the OUOC website
Will see everyone at Esher on Saturday, word from the planners is that both areas are looking pretty fast!

I think Scotia was winning by a mile, then Marcus Pinker. Ali Crocker just beat Rachael Majumdar and Liz Bridge.
Stop talking, start running.

Surely there must be bonus points for the fastest run in?

Do Sheffield not have a girls team?
Hope the relays are as exciting as the last time Oxford hosted BUSA!

Yes and a lot of the Sheffield team (both boys and girls) are new to orienteering coming from other sports (look at Novice class results) which I think is a credit to the club - must bode well for the future
