Could someone explain to me (in simple terms) what splittbrowser is. I came accross the link when putting my run on routegadget, and it looks completely confussing.
Thanks

Re: Splitbrowser
Orient,
your link gives this explanation:
What is Splitsbrowser
Splitsbrowser is an open, web based, system for the display and analysis of orienteering split times. It uses a Java applet to display results submitted to the site by event organisers.
I suspect Leanne wants something a little less esoteric (here we go again!)
I offer:
splitsbrowser is a tool which allows you to compare your time (leg by leg) against other orienteers on the same course, you can compare your leg time against the fastest or even just those who finished around you. It is usually easy to spot where you lost time cf those around you in the results and then you can try and work out why (no attack point, didn't have a plan, couldn't be bothered to pace count, lost concentration, followed someone to the wrong place, was so badly hung over I couldn't read the map etc etc
).
It is a good post-race analysis tool - once you play with it it is pretty intuitive.

you're right, it does seem a little on the short side. However here is a link that should explain a little bit more on how to use it: http://www.splitsbrowser.org.uk/help/mainhelp.shtml
