What does everyone think about the new British Orienteering website?
Only looked around very breifly but it certainly appears an improvement.

Check the address for the site in your favourites list.... you might still be directing yourself to the old site.
Looks good though.
Interesting thing in the 'cancelled events' listing.... the October Odyssey is being shown as cancelled. Need confirmation of that... anyone know the status for the event?

So what's the address of the new site then? I thought the new site would be at the old address, and all I can see there is the old site (even after pressing refresh)

I couldn't get the old one from my favourites so searched British Orienteering through google and got the new one. I managed to find my own club from the club search but couldn't get the SYO site (trying to find some results on there) However may be SYO problem of course.
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

And the SMOC regional on October 28 also shown as cancelled.

Not shown as such on the SMOC site.

Thanks Jenny, I have found the site through your link. I had thought it was a bit strange BOF had sent passwords out but nothing was on the old site about when the new site would be up. Or am I a bit slow and it does say somewhere but I've not read it?
Anyway, it looks smart and colourful. Good work so far.

Looks like the website got switched back - people were definitely going from the new one (at the old address) to my own site earlier this afternoon.
Stop talking, start running.

I think it takes a while before the change of IP address for http://www.britishorienteerin.org.uk works its way round all the world's Domain Name Servers and some people will still be taken to the old site.
I can't find results either.
