Having seen that picture of Rigweilter I think there is a link to the discussion point of Peter Lynas. It could be the leg but also the chap with the ruck sack looks just like all orienteers

Sean, What do you look like? How old are you? and do you wear a suit and tie to work?
Not sure where to begin telling you how wrong you are Mrs H.
You very clearly bring the discussion straight back to the original topic with your ageist, lookist and snappy dressingist questions. What's more you were only the 9th reply

However I still maintain I win. I'll do a deal keep the tenner I'll just go for the kiss and I don't care what you look like. Pucker up buddy

Oh I couldn't fight with Mrs.H. Perhaps we'll work together and kidnap both Sean C and you Riggweilter, it could be your lucky day
Worth far more than a tenner

No! I'm not kidnapping anyone because then i'll have to feed them and I have quite enough of that under normal conditions.
Riggwelter - Sean said ten posts not ten replies so it's obviously mine - but I'll do a deal with you - you can have the kiss and I'll get the tenner - Hocolite - you're out of the deal- just like the Dragon's Den.
Lamb chops roasted with pumpkin, chillis and rosemary tonight.

I owe Riggwelter a tenner. Though I'm not sure if it shouldn't be given to the league against cruel sports.
Then I wrote
"As well as giving a tenner, I promise to give someone a big sloppy kiss!"
My wife was a bit shocked when I gave her a big sloppy kiss a few minutes ago. She asked why, but I didn't have the energy to explain.

Eh...this thread's turned into complete jobbie. Can we have the old one back?

I hope Riggwelter gets the tenner before the OMM, then we can have some extra treats at the mid-camp

I just read the article...thats noping ridiculous. If she can't understand what they're saying, how in God's name can she learn anything? I say give her a prize for saying something most people would be afraid to say, and actually wanting to learn.
Also, 'science' class? Surely you should be having separate science lessons by the age of 14???

Banter has been average at best today, though there are a few names marked down as potential promising talents that i feel must be nurtured on this public forum. I hope for the sake of the nope-license paying public it will pick up in the coming days...

hey meatmarket
have you got ten minutes or so to whip up a few 'chess related' place names in the UK?
or would you rather be out getting some helpless young wench into a position of 'checkmate'?

Returning to the original topic then;
Yes the Country has gone mad, because it is full of people too willing to believe everything they read in the press or are told by politicians. As these are the 2 groups of people most likely to lie at every availble opportunity I suggest that people stop and think a bit harder before they start banging on about it.
How can you tell when a politician is lying? You can see their lips moving!
How can you tell a journalist is lying? Just assume they are unless you were there yourself, most of them struggle to do anything else!

Totally agree with Johnloguk.
An article on a similar vein, to back up his comments about journalists and politicians:

Did you know they have removed the word 'Gullible' from the latest edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.
