Heather Monro has let us all know that she is retiring/resigning..... moving on from her post of RDO in the North of England with effect from the end of September.

Many thanks Heather for all the help, ideas, thoughts and enthusiasm that you have brought to the job. Your work has been much appreciated.

So.... another hole in the RDO coverage appears. We have had the experience, nationwide, now of the effects of having RDOs. The sport and the membership should carefully look at what has been achieved with their work. It may not have touched everyone..... so be careful before you condemn it out of hand. I think we do need them.... and we should raise funds, if necessary, to keep them in post.

Now.... this is one of those big ideas that Nope can comment on and offer worthwhile opinion. Give it some thought and lets tell our councillors what we think.... through THIS medium.

There has been no discernable imput in our area what so ever so there is nothing here to evaluate. Perhaps people in other parts of the West Midlands could fill in the spaces of what has been achieved?
