I am only just beginning to realise that I enjoyed the weekend, although I still can't walk down stairs without looking about 90 years old.
Best bit for me was the dunking in the sea lake at Clevedon... obviously the course planners were quite a bit taller than me - should have had a snorkel on the mandatory kit list!
A big to the organisers and all the teams - a hurculean effort all round!

Amused to see my comment on Saturday's orienteering made the race report on Sleepmonsters - was Robyn there, or did you pass it on, Ifor?

I did not deliberatly pass it on but I did say in passing to a number of people that you had said it was too easy on Sataday, but then thought the second day was going to have people getting lost once you saw the hard loop.
What amazed me was the total incompetance of people after half way through the field setting out on the easy loop. There were loads of people trying to set bearings , where all you had to do was line the map up, choose the corect path run along it to the tee junction turn left and there is the controll in 100 meaters at the next path junction.

Hey,
well i'll be there, so will Andy Simpson, and loads of others,
tips wise, get some good cushioned shoes for running in, your legs wills take a bit of a hammering on sat night.
make sure your bag is light, you have light kit, and you go the right way!!

The orienteering on Sunday was great... but probably because we found the cave that caused so much trouble pretty much spot on (my dodgey marking up made us go to the crag first... )
Thank you for setting the hard loop so that it actually challenged the vast majority of rat racers!
