Forum issues

Ok, I'm probably letting this get to me far too much but can we please have different images for when announcements/hot topics have new posts in them. It's really frustrating when I think I'm up to date with a forum only to find that I've missed posts because you can't tell they're there.

I find orange sticks out quite nicely.
even when flashing.

Hmmm... I swear it didn't do that last I checked (still spends far more time not orange though ). Statement still stands with regards to the announcements though.

Edit: Just re-read my first post. By different I meant different to the image used when there are no new posts, not different in general. Orange is good .

Seeing as theres a topic on the subject:
On other forums I use they have this handy little feature:

(Go to first unread post )

Which unsurprisingly takes you to the first unread post in a topic.
Does this already exist here at [nope]?

I think thats what the little orange page icon beside the name of unread topics does.
