The SEOA AGM in June will have free food and drink laid on - spread the word and see you there.

But will it still be at 7pm on a Thursday tacked onto a committee meeting, like last year's... if you want more people to come I think holding it at an event would be a more successful approach than providing snacks!

Been there, tried it (at SE relays) and got less people.

Adventure racing is a 'Non-Professional' sport but the money is there- I've won 300 quids worth of vouchers in an adventure race -and that was for coming second!

Big difference between kit vouchers and cash. Lots of the former going round in AR, very little of the latter (IIRC there's only ever been one British race with brown envelopes stuffed with cash as prizes). Whilst it is nice to win gear vouchers, there is only so much kit you can have, and it doesn't pay for your petrol to get to the events. It is of course also much "cheaper" for a sponsor to give a voucher than the equivalent amount of cash.
