Has anyone got any experience of or recommendations for a "baby jogger" type pushchair? I'm due to give birth to our first baby in March and we're starting to shop around for an offroad pushchair which we can use once the baby is 6 months old or so. It'd be used mainly for training runs around the North Downs (on and off road) and at orienteering events, so we need something fairly chunky, able to cope with fields, mud and rocky tracks. The choice is a bit overwhelming and we don't really know where to start!
Thanks very much.

I was just thinking your time must be nearly up!
We had a 10k Ultimate by Instep which was great for walking on the Chase and hanging around assembly areas and I would highly reccommend.
Not much use in towns - only tried it once and it was impossible to push around Monsoon, just too big. Quite expensive (not helped by getting it from George Fisher in Keswick), but not our problem - that's what grandparents are for!
Never tried running with it - found it easier to pass Teenie over to Stodge and let him hold the baby!
Good luck!

We just bought a Jane Powertrack 360 (meaning the front wheel turns).
No intention of running with the thing. Bought for relatively light weight manouverability and the 12" wheels should handle rough ground when walking around fields and tracks at races.
If you do actually want to run I imagine that you'd want 16" wheels like Stodgetta's one. I think that is more of a bargain than the 'Baby Jogger' make
