Entries for the National Event at the Concorde Chase close on Saturday, so if you haven't done so already, get your entry in.
The British Nights has postal entries deadline of Saturday as well, but with internet entries extending until 20th.
Both events should be burn-ups with no undergrowth and no hils - mins/km will be certainly be at the lower end. The National should also be a new area to many people.

Not quite right Supersaint
Whilst postal entries for the BKO Concorde Chase National Event close on Saturday (unless I have time to process any extra that just 'happen' to appear - with a late entry fee please), Internet Entries for the National Event close on 20th January, the same as the British Nights. Late entry fee for entries after Saturday, though, so get your entries while they're still hot.

I have a problem can you help? I wish to entry ten competitors for the Brit Nights and the Nat Event. However because they are all military competitors and they dont return from leave until Mon 09 Jan 03. I cant get all their personal details. In addition I cant draw a cheque from the club accoutant until that day. On the back of this email can you guarantee that I can still get reduced entry fee?

Would it not be more sensible to have planned in advance & contacted the event entry team before. Not sure it's the best way forward for event entries to start issuing entry guarantees againat unsernames issued on a public forum.... but of course... Deaf Old Gorilla might be just a nice guy

I may indeed be a super guy (and doesn't coaching juniors all day today in the bracing sleet make you feel that way
) .
However, I will say that late entries (including your's please Jasper) should include the late entry fee - the late fee is there to encourage people to enter on time. It's not the knowing that people will enter, it's the time to arrange and sort out the paperwork (and especialy the start times for an FCC/National/Championship event series), which can't be done until there is a confirmed entry.
You may also care to note the sentence that says that late postral entries may not be processed - I would recommend that you use the online entries for late entries. Basically this means that any late postal entries that I get will be put into a box until I've processed the others. This may or may not be after the event, depending on the workload (and this promises to be an event with lots of people).
We might want to have a discussion about closing dates, late fees, etc, but I would suggest that this is best in a separate thread. Having processed entreis for 2 BOC's, 2 JK's, 5 BSOC's and many National and Badge Events, it's a subject dear to my heart (and the postman's bad back).

How much leave do these guys get? The entries could have been posted weeks ago.
