JHI RESULTS
Where are the results from the JHI's, an important event like this should have had them published by at least late yesterday afternoon.
Come on you Welsh get a grip it isn't rocket science you know.

The Welsh did a great job putting on the JHI's - a lot of work by a small team. The areas and courses were great and everything was spot on. Results were in each team's hands right after the races were finished.
Thank you to the Sewards, SBOC and all the helpers. Ignore this carping from people who were presumably not involved.

Jasper i feel that you are being unfairly harsh to the WOA. as we are all aware it is a small association that needs to use all its reserves to stage the home internationals whenever they come to Wales. If the results are delayed then there will be a good reason for this. i don't wish to lock this topic because i hope some good chat will come out of everyone who went to the JHI's at the weekend. in addition to this the courses looked good.

The JHIs were tremendous - choice of areas was good, the courses appeared well planned and from a spectator perspective they were the best in recent years.
The view from the hill near the finish of the individual provided a panoramic view of the area (see the photo in the Nopesport report) - several controls were in view and with the help of binoculars you had the equivalent of a grandstand seat. Superb.
All classes were pretty closely contested on the individual day and I heard no complaints at all.
It would be hard to better that for the relays but the legs were again well planned with plenty of spectator interest in mind - with several points on each course where runners were in view. It was easy to keep track of what was going on.
It might have seemed as though the Girls relay was a procession with a 1,2,3,4 for England. All credit to them for that but that wasn't the way it was looking after leg 1, with Scotland running away with it - and with the Welsh, in 5th only 30 seconds down at the end of leg 3. The boys similarly was closely contested right up to the end with Scotland, England and Wales in the mix - a 5.1 mins/km final leg clinching it for Scotland.
Thanks Wales, late posting of results, whilst unfortunate, is a relatively minor blip. Suffice to say the weekend was worth the 2000km round trip in a minbus and that says an awful lot! Glad the weather was good though!
