busa
I think the B winners should get some acknowledgement at the prize giving. Ok so Matt was just being lazy running the B but the Lady winner was quite new to the sport I think.
I thought busa was really well organised and that tho.
In answer to the nopesport reporter's quiz question Jo Stevenson won Busa as a fresher I think, and she was only 17 or something because she's Scottish. I remember because there was a whole lot of hoo ha about her not getting picked for World Students because it was too close to JWOC or something.

y'need commentary & more razz in general, there was a great set up with spectator control & nice visible run in this weekend but could have been topped off with some commentary & music & banter - there was plenty of chances for updates from the forest with the road crossings, would have made it much more interesting for those hanging about at the assembly.

Of course we were restricted by being based in army accommodation, but it certainly made life easier from an organisational point of view, and cheaper for us student-types! and we got two areas and EMIT use from them... pretty helpful overall, I'd say.

next busa held by edinburgh has to have the relays on t'seat, would be great... and the freshers of that year would have a field day!

Last Edinburgh BUSA had relays on Arthurs seat. Jolly good they were too. Of course, b*stard controller made EUOC teams non-competitive...
Maybe next year's relays will be on Warwick Campus?

someone was talking about maybe getting a sprint race on campus at warwick, would be well good if that happened. evil gits wouldn't let us map pollock.

I guess I was thinkin of the ones before last then - organised by Gillian Matthews (whoever she may be) and planned by Gordon Riemersma.
Why wouldn't they let you map pollock? Most if it was a building site last year...
