Holland-OL: Dutch Six Day

Dear orienteering friends,

The board of the Dutch Federation (NOLB) is intimidating and threatening our workers, partners, sponsors and even clubs and federations of our participants.

Under these circumstances it is impossible for us to organise Holland-OL 2005.

We are sorry that we have to cancel this year’s event which we organised with grate care and thousands of enthusiastic participants since 1997.

We are very disappointed with the attitude of the board of the NOLB towards our organisation. Especially because all Dutch clubs have been benefiting from our organisation throughout the years. Even last Easter we borrowed them our equipment for free at their 3-days event.

Nevertheless we welcome you at one of the next year’s editions of Holland-OL who are surely to come.
