My boss has done nothing but moan for the past 1/2 hour about how it will cost her in taxes etc. etc. Strange how anybody in my office who does any form of sport is dead chuffed and the lazy ones are annoyed!

It's wonderful news!
I guess the question to be asked is how it will impact on the funding of non-olympic sports - all the more reason to find some place for orienteering in the games whether as a demonstration, paralympic or mainstream sport.
Whatever happens I've always thought apathy not funding to be the biggest danger and this must surely raise levels of general enthusiasm for sport throughout the country which must in it self be good. It's up to us how we can turn that to our specific advantage.
