now the racing season is at last upon us lets be having some chat about who is going to take the top spots.
Interesting show down in the Mens 21 will be the GG - Nixon re-match after the Trossachs, plus super speedy Mr Alan Bogle pitching in after a winter of top road and cross country results in the Province. Could it be a breakthrough year for people like Rob Baker, Clive Parry ?
Will any of the FCC kids be able to mix it with the big boys ? Will they be able to take on all the old duffers running in M21 ? Now there's a challenge.
In the Ladies race its looking like a battle between Claire Ward and Rachael Elder, Pippa Whitehouse is out with a wrecked ankle. But can the Irish contingent; Aislinn Austin and Toni O'Donovan make an impact and how will the Swedes from OK Tyr mix up the results ? Finally what will Abi Weeds do ? Is she fit, looking for a come-back ?
The W20s is a small but top field, and can quite possibly take on the seniors with W18 being a bigger field involving most of the top names.
c'mon - how about some pre race banter

and there's the OUOC trio of Emma Dahlstedt, Becky Carlyle and Cerys Manning (in W20) in the mix as well, especially in the middle distance race

I think the women from OK Tyr are quite good. Linn Nilsson is ranked 67th in Sweden, so is pretty decent. So they could mix it a bit. G'on the Tyr!

CLOK are also quite well represented this year.
I think the interesting races this weekend should be the womens. Hopefully there will be a few surprises .
Come on CLOK and OUOC!

We can't be back to a dobbing topic on another thread, can we? I thought this was a serious bit
