controversy reigned supreme today with anonymous posts galore (albiet one of them from uncle dickie) but who do you think was the bad assed anonymous poster???

bit harsh to slag off Claire. perhaps twas someone too young to remember she was hit by a joyrider so hard they said she wouldn't be able to walk again just a few years ago.
My mum coaches schoolkids not would-be elites, i feel i have to stick up for her. so maybe she is kind of a never was but she only started orienteering when she was 40 and she does have a WMOC medal to her name which is pretty good considering when she started she couldn't run the length of a football pitch.
anyway boo hoo - five more minutes then i can go training.

nope it. its all just so much noping bullshit. anyone who puts down people who put something back into the sport deserve a fuckin shoeing. who gives a nope if they're has beens. they're just helping out. some noping pricks should keep there opinions to themselves. if you think someones a jobbie coach, perhaps someone else thinks they're a great coach. thats life, fuckin live with it instead of taking anonymous cheap shots. for example, i will happily admit that i am a fat noping waster, and right now someone like hmmm.... scotia for example would probably destroy me in the forest... however does this mean that i couldn't teach him a thing or two that might help him become a better orienteer both in and out of the forest? or in and out of a finnish for that matter. theres plenty of brits who are in the same position as me, who have had some good international experience and want to pass this onto other younger brits beacuse they want to see british orienteering succeed and go further. so nope it, show some noping respect. nope nope fuckity nope nope arse tits. nope off.

perhaps i need to rethink my decision to be a teacher after that impressive list of profanities.

anyway the word on the street (from naked folk sprinting around edinburgh) says that your current market leader scotia had nothing to do with the post. i certainly believe it to be true, i think with all the jobby he'd already posted on peelies and the abuse he was taking showed that he has the balls to stand up and say what he thinks without being anonymous.

he also had the balls to run round edinburgh naked. as did ed, peter g, oleg, murray, ally, ewan & ste... well done you guys, the sight of you all running past the library happy as larry whilst the random girls we were talking to pissed themselves was fantastic... and then the bloke from the chippy with a rather confused expression as one by one you nakedly ran past his shop down nicholson st to the sound of applause from the fans...

just brilliant.
