does anyone know about any broadband services that have a 512 kbs upload?
i assumed that if i doubled my download speed i would also double the upload but this doesnt seem to be the case.
also, if anyone knows of anyone with an old g3 imac (the pretty looking ones in candy colours) i would love to buy it to use as a server. and i know how much they are worth.

Try http://www.adslguide.org.uk they have all the details of all the providers (although it may take awhile to find one that does. Pipex do 512/256k down/up, but there may be people that do 512/512.

But only if you move to London...
Basically getting anything better for upload seems to be near impossible, unless one looks at very expensive options (SDSL).

Beat me to it. http://www.ukonline.net/8000
Only 8000/400 but for the same price as I'm paying for my 2048/256 I'd get it in a flash if they supported my damn exchange. At least its avaliable outside of London though.

1mb - 29.99
3mb - 49.99
instalation fees tho, and their crap coverage map isnt very helpful, nor does it look to promising

Just got a flier for some very local (i.e. 10 mile radius of my house) for 4Mb symmetrical by radio dish. A snip at £800 installation and £800 a month
