JK CAMPING
Due to Child Protection issues we will not have access to toilet and
Shower facilities if camping at Lakeside for the JK. I am therefore
withdrawing any recommendation to camp there. There is an alternative
well appointed camp site at The Croft, Hawkshead. However, space is
extremely limited and if you want to camp there you must book
immediately. The number is 015394 36374. Sorry for the
inconvenience(!)

It's true. Lakeside were happy enough to take £9 a night per person off us for the priviledge of camping there, but they would not let us use the toilets and showers because of the school groups booked in in case we molested the kiddies! Things might have got a bit unpleasent if we'd all had to use the surrounding bushes so I pulled the recommendation. I would have thought that it was not quite legal to deny us access to the facilities - I'm sure there must be something in theHuman rights Act about it - anyway I thought everyone was innocent until proved guilty!

OK here's your reason:
Sounds fairly self-explanitory

Maybe we could have access to the loos on a timeshare basis. Let the kids in during the day, and the orienteers in the evening.
Good thing there aren't any kids who are also orienteers.

It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.
