i've just had an arguement with a grey bmw i would like to think it was a score draw but i'm hurting a far bit once i landed however i did take a chunk out of his front. and it was a new one too

seriously though kids always wear a helmet and don't ride so fast down hills and never purchase large german executive cars

Phew Fred, glad to hear it's not Joykok's banter bike (the one the cops thought Asian had stolen?) oh, and to hear that you survived a close encounter of the Beemer kind. Had a close call with one of those evil beasts myself last night.

Swedish army bikes ain't to hard to get hold of, even legally. They were selling all sorts of old army gear in an old shop down the road from me the other week, bikes included (and all sorts of the strangest crap - gas masks, boiler suits, field kitchen trailers, huuuuge waterproof sheets, pea soup in cans (5 years old) and loads more). Mind you, wait until the end/start of term at any Swedish school or uni and you can pick one up for about 300 spänn - yeh, getting the beast on the 'plane home may be a problem though. Still, just get someone to cut it up into bits and then weld it back together when you get home......

i don't want one of those locks that comes with it though, that failed last time and i had to get some swedish guy to saw through it for me. oh, so i suppose it protected my bike well..

Mr H. sawed through someone's lock - was it AndyL?. 4 spaces on the bike rack - we have to lie younger Miss H's bike across the top. mind you we only have 4 bikes at the mo as Mr H.'s was stolen in York on the way to the White Rose (They threw all of ours on the ground because they were crap compared to his )
