Hi all
Hit Gothenburg this morning, weather is glorious and there is a very pleasant atmosphere. Off to 'Little Britain' (ie the british section of the campsite) in a few mins to find fellow brits. There is an internet cafe at 77p per half hour, not bad at all, will keep you posted. Event centre is fantastic, but not at all crowded. You dont realise that there are so many people here (not yet anyway!)

Did ye get all the freebies in the centre??
I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.

Ooh nasty, hope the ankles all sorted for today!!
Ooh first race, so exciting, I´ve such a late race so I´ve now ages to wait since I´m up so early.
Ahh 5 headbands, I just took the one...2 cartons of "holy" water, a lot of pens, cookies, n a lil badge of a moose.
Prologue yest was brilliant wasn´t it.
Simone beat by 7s - will she make up for it today???
EXCITING!!

Just ran in Scandinavia for my first time, currently 130th out of 217, not a great run to say the least! Messed up the long legs and lost quite a lot of time. Forest was quite physical mostly because of a lot of 'man-eating' marshes! Best run of the day in my class (D15) is Hollie Orr, 13th at the moment. Weather wasn't great at the event, it chucked it down.
looking forward to tomorrow, I know what Scandi forests are like to run in now, and really want to do better than today!

Great to see the JWOC team continuing the good form...
Mhairi Mackenzie after yesterdays 2nd place has just taken an early lead on D20E with half the field still to finish can she hold on!
I just managed to log onto the Radio ORingen in time to hear her announced through the end of the course and interviewed on the line.
She said it was the toughtest stage so far and had to really slow down to read the map!
Class Leader Helena Jansson due to finish around 11.50 GMT.
Also top 10 & 20 overall's (before today) from Alison, Cerys & Helen.
You can watch updated results on http://www.oringenonline.com
and get the Radio link through http://www.alternativet.nu/alternativet.asp?id=2987 but youll need to download Winamp

anyone know what happened to multi-world champ simone today? was intrigued to find out how she wasn't in the top 10 on a mass start, and it turns out she was 9mins down at the first control - did she just miss the start? Or was this actually an absolutely huge error?

I agree Mr dover
Nah I reckon top result from Ewan on H21E so far, hope he can do the business in the hunt tomorrow, will be tuning in to find out.
Besides H21E is tougher than the Super Elite's who have shorter lengths and get a rest. H21E for hardcore athletes..
And Not too bad yourself .... SW squad will be getting a good deal.
You up for the Dorset Coast Path relay first w/e in Sept?
