I'm presenting the first British Orienteering Webinar of 2020 on Thursday 5th March at 7 p.m. on the topic of Routegadget.
I see that Clydeside Orienteers have already shared details with a comment of "useful geekery". Seems a pretty good summary of what I am intending to say.
There will be a chance to submit questions on the night, but if there are any particular things you would like to cover then let me know.
Further details, including how to register, are in the British Orienteering news section.

Thanks for the webinar - very useful, and I learnt several new things (including the GPS speed colour coding and double-clicking on your name for all the performance stats.
The question about how to Geo-reference a map was mine. I get sent an OCAD map file for the RG upload, but I only have OCAD viewer. Can that create the geo-reference XML file?

No, OCAD Viewer can't do it. The best solution by far would be to do it in a full version of OCAD. It's not that difficult and you then get lots of benefits. I've georeferenced all HH maps over the past two or three years as the areas get updated and used.
In theory you could georeference a standalone JPG or GIF exported from the OCAD viewer but it's not trivial.
The guidance I mentioned is at the bottom of the British Orienteering Mapping Resources page.

Really interesting session Simon. What we now need is a short highlights video showing some of the biggest mistakes! Some of my runs would be good candidates.

So long as the original map was georeferenced to National Grid then OCAD viewer will output a jpg and associated world file which together can be added to Routegadget.
Agree with Martin, some very useful ideas which despite managing 3 RG installations I had not come across before.
