Don't know if this has been mentioned here before. My employer is promoting this as a health initiative because one of the areas covered is where our head office is.

Except that under 16s are allowed to cross roads...

It was good fun and got us out training on foot or bike more than some of us would usually do! Two NOC members won bikes (prizes from the local Decathlon, a sponsor) and the club won a monetary prize which we put towards the mapping cost of an inner city area. The downside was that some of the 'beat boxes' were vandalised and in the 2nd year the level of cheating was high ( people going round with multiple cards to get points for their club or school). We haven't had it again in Nottingham, presumably because the City council couldn't afford to fund it - shame. It was a great 'health' initiative to try to get families doing more exercise.

There have been a couple of years where it has featured in Birmingham. HOC and COBOC will know more than me.
